The OHH Pub Company is a family run business that has grown from one small pub to a number of successful 5 Star Inns.

In the early 80’s, Bristol born David and Sally Warburton decided to leave their city jobs and try their hands at the pub trade. They ran the Pride of the Forest, Unity Street, Bristol. The site is now a bricked-up facade to Gardiner Haskins’ car park but the popular boozer was a huge success with post work drinkers and a strong Darts Team, led by David.

Keen to escape the city, Wadworth and Co. offered the couple their first country pub. In 1984 they moved into The Old House At Home, a charming pub in the village of Burton. The “OHH” was born and David and Sally took the pub from strength to strength. As David ran the bar and Sally looked after the kitchen, The Old House At Home became one of the only pubs in the South West offering freshly prepared cuisine in a spit and sawdust pub. What was created all those years ago is the core foundation of the business today.

Now led by their son, Mark Warburton, with the support of his brother Matthew, the company is expanding and striving to become a collection of the finest country inns throughout the South West region.
